When sending artwork through for printing and to avoid any additional artwork charges, please ensure that the following specifications are met:
Please ensure all fonts are converted to Curves (CorelDraw), Shapes (Photoshop), Outlines (Adobe Illustrator & InDesign).
Full colour printing requires all artwork to be supplied CMYK. If specific spot colours are required, please ensure that the correct Pantone values are supplied and that the artwork is created correctly.
All artwork running to the edge of the print must be supplied with at least 2mm bleed all around.
We currently work with CorelDraw X5, so if the artwork was created in CorelDraw, CDR files are accepted. Other formats accepted from other design programs include PDF (When you distill your pdf, please use the X1/a compliant option), EPS, TIFF or PSD.
Files created in Microsoft based programs must be saved as a PDF. This is only fine for straightforward printing, but not for poster / canvas / litho / banner printing and will require preparation (at a charge) to ensure the artwork prints correctly.
Please supply the artwork one up per item. We will do the setting up.
Images are required to be supplied at a resolution of no less than 300dpi and supplied CMYK.
Artwork for Vinyl cutting and T-Shirt printing (text and flat logos), must be supplied as a vector file (saved as PDF, CDR or EPS file).
If we do find that the artwork requires work (excluding a minor tweak here and there), you will be contacted before anything is done, and you will have the option to re-send the amended artwork or you can have us finish it for you. A final proof will be emailed to you before printing.
